Preparation of BiFe₁-x+yBaxCayO₃ Nanopowders via the Solution Combustion Method (SCM) (x, y = 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25)

| Abstract | This study explores the synthesis of multiferroic nanopowders, specifically BiFe₀.₈Ba₀.₁Ca₀.₁O₃, BiFe₀.₇Ba₀.₁₅Ca₀.₁₅O₃, BiFe₀.₆Ba₀.₂Ca₀.₂O₃, and BiFe₀.₅Ba₀.₂₅Ca₀.₂₅O₃, using the Solution Combustion Method (SCM). The preparation of these nanopowders involved the use of metal nitrates and glycine as fuel. The resulting powders were ground in an acetone medium, calcined at various temperatures, and subsequently shaped into pellets. The incorporation of Ca and Ba dopants into the BiFeO₃ structure is aimed at enhancing its multiferroic properties for potential applications in various fields. |
