| Abstract | This conceptual study with a specific focus on companies operating in Hyderabad region widely emphasize that green business practices are no longer peripheral activities but core strategic drivers of long-term organizational performance. According to Elkington’s Triple Bottom Line framework, businesses must integrate environmental and social responsibility alongside profit generation to remain viable in a rapidly evolving global economy. This foundational principle has shaped managerial approaches to sustainability and provided a basis for green transformation across industries.. As businesses increasingly face pressure to address climate risks, resource scarcity, and sustainability-related market expectations, green practices such as renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, clean technologies, sustainable sourcing, and eco-friendly packaging have emerged as strategic imperatives. The study aims to identify and analyse the nature, scope, and effectiveness of these practices among Hyderabad-based companies and to explore how they contribute simultaneously to environmental stewardship and competitive advantage. Drawing from secondary data, expert literature, and sustainability frameworks, this study develops an integrated conceptual understanding of how green business practices shape operational efficiency, brand differentiation, regulatory compliance, and market positioning. |
