| Abstract | Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders affecting adolescent girls. Despite its prevalence, it often remains undiagnosed—particularly in rural areas—because of limited awareness and understanding among families. Mothers play a key role in recognizing early symptoms and seeking timely care for their daughters. Improving their knowledge can promote early identification, timely treatment, and prevention of long-term complications. Educational interventions at the community level may therefore be an effective strategy to increase awareness and support early management of PCOS. |
