Abstract | As India approaches 2047, marking a century of independence, entrepreneurship and startups play a critical role in shaping a self-reliant and innovation-driven economy. This paper explores how India’s entrepreneurial landscape has evolved, driven by government initiatives such as Startup India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, along with advancements in venture capital funding, emerging business models, and the gig economy. The study also examines future challenges and opportunities that will define India’s startup ecosystem by 2047. The paper concludes with policy recommendations and strategic insights to ensure sustained growth, job creation, and global competitiveness. |
