Abstract | Managing financial risk is vital for the stability of organizations, particularly in sectors such as the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). This research investigates how MIDC employees perceive financial risks and looks into the methods they utilize to manage these risks. Through an empirical research methodology, data was gathered from a selection of MIDC employees via structured questionnaires and interviews. The research assesses the level of financial knowledge, awareness of financial risks, and the success of the risk management strategies employed by the employees. The results indicate that while most employees understand the significance of financial risk management, there is a notable lack of practical knowledge and application. Numerous employees depend on conventional saving practices, with minimal engagement in sophisticated financial tools like investments and insurance policies. Moreover, elements such as educational qualifications, job positions, and income levels affect employees’ perceptions of financial risks and their decision-making processes. |
