Abstract | The recent development of digital marketing has completely transformed how organizations perform in India. Digital marketing is becoming a crucial part of economic growth due to rising smartphone usage, internet penetration, and government programs like Digital India. This essay examines the state of digital marketing in India today, its effects on consumers and businesses, and the ways in which Indian economic policies affect its expansion and long-term viability. It also looks at how new technologies like automation, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI) will influence digital marketing in the future. Along with outlining possible solutions, the study also identifies important issues such as cybersecurity risks, data privacy issues, and gaps in digital literacy. likewise, this paper explores how economic policies like the Make in India initiative, the Digital India Initiative, the adoption of the GST, and rules dealing to foreign direct investment (FDI) have contributed to it easier for digital marketing to grow in India. It also assesses the potential for creating jobs in the sector of digital marketing, the explosion of entrepreneurship brought about by digital platforms, and the higher levels of consumer spending enabled conceivable by targeted advertising. The present research attempts to offer insights into the changing environment of digital marketing in India and its long-term ramifications for businesses and the economy by thoroughly analyzing both possibilities and challenges. |
