Abstract | The relationship between economic growth and environmental sustainability is one of the most debated topics in contemporary economic and environmental discourse. While economic growth has led to increased prosperity, industrialization, and technological advancements, it has also resulted in environmental degradation, resource depletion, and climate change. This paper explores the dynamic interaction between economic expansion and environmental sustainability, analyzing key theoretical frameworks, empirical evidence, and policy interventions. It examines whether sustainable development models can harmonize economic and environmental goals. The paper concludes by emphasizing the need for green economic policies, sustainable technologies, and international cooperation to achieve long-term economic growth without compromising environmental health. |
