Author(s) Dr. Datta Kuntewad
Country India
Abstract India’s tourist sector is expanding. The concept of tourism is gradually moving from the mainstream to the niche as a result of the expanding socioeconomic environment. Agro tourism is a branch of tourism that gives city dwellers the chance to interact with locals and learn about their customs and way of life in rural areas. Due of its impact on societal development, it has drawn more and more attention from researchers in both developed and developing nations. As a newly emerging phenomenon in the urban population, it has a number of impacting growth elements, including climate, socio cultural, demography, and economic background. The purpose of the study is to identify some of the essential factors that may influence the choice of destination as a significant possibility for tourism growth. However, Maharashtra’s agro-tourism promotion faces unique difficulties, which the study makes an effort to pinpoint and resolve using a conceptual framework model. The study’s primary objectives are to create a useful tool for rural job prospects and to assist rural residents in improving their economic situation through increased revenue.
