Abstract E-commerce has seen a substantial transformation due to the fastest development of digital technology. It has fostered the creative trends and tactics to reshaped consumer behavior, corporate processes and competitive business environments. There is a need to understand the development in the E-commerce; therefore this paper attempts to shed light on the basic concept of E-commerce and its innovative trends. This paper also attempts to explore the latest improvements in e-commerce, including artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), blockchain, omnichannel retailing, and sustainable practices. Further, this paper shed light on effective strategies such as personalized marketing, automation and social commerce. The paper employs an extensive literature review to provide insights into how these trends shape the future of online retail and enhance business competitiveness.
