| Abstract | The study investigates the state of Indian politics during the partition, with a focus on the role of key political figures, the impact of political parties, and the communal violence that ensued. The methodology involves a systematic review approach as well as first-hand accounts. The study sheds light on the complex interplay of political forces and communal tensions during this tumultuous period. The key conclusion drawn from this study is that the actions of political leaders and parties heavily influenced the course of events during the partition, contributing to the widespread communal violence that tragically unfolded. |
