Abstract Forensic genealogy, a revolutionary technique at the intersection of criminal investigations, genetics, and genealogy, has gained recognition for solving mysteries and finding missing persons. This article provides an overview of its approach, highlighting its pivotal role in long-standing cases and the transformative impact of DNA analysis and genealogical research. It also includes case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of forensic genealogy techniques.
