Abstract | The aviation industry is rapidly advancing technologically on a global scale, driven by the growing demand for air travel. It is crucial for the industry to uphold efficient and effective operations in light of this trend. This report aims to spotlight the latest innovations in aviation, specifically focusing on the utilization of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to elevate safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The primary objective of this study is to offer an extensive overview of AI and ML applications within the aviation sector. As we move towards a future dominated by machines, this thesis will incorporate elements of machine learning alongside AI to provide a comprehensive perspective. Particularly noteworthy are the impacts of machine learning in aircraft manufacturing, as it involves enabling machines to learn and process data essential for ensuring effective and efficient work processes. There are concerns surrounding AI's development despite being created by humans; these fears regarding its increasing relevance within aviation will also be addressed through analysis in this study. |
