Author(s) Aarishti Singh
Country India
Abstract This dissertation explores the evolving landscape of legal, technological, and regulatory frameworks surrounding autonomous vehicles (AVs) in India with a focus on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity. The study delves into current Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act and the draft Personal Data Protection Bill, and examines their adequacy in addressing the challenges posed by AVs. By conducting a comparative analysis with international standards such as the GDPR and specific regulations in the United States and China, the research identifies key gaps and opportunities for India to refine its approach.
