| Abstract | The trucking industry in the United States is a cornerstone of the supply chain, facing challenges such as inefficiencies in dispatching, high operational costs, and unpredictable delays. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool, offering innovative solutions to these challenges through optimized dispatching and route planning. This paper explores the role of AI in enhancing fleet utilization, reducing costs, and ensuring timely deliveries. By leveraging machine learning, predictive analytics, and geospatial data, AI enables dynamic decision-making and route optimization tailored to real-time conditions. This study also examines the financial and environmental benefits of AI adoption, highlights implementation challenges, and reviews successful applications within the industry.
