EUNIS Terrestrial Habitat Classification of the Bozcaada West Cape Dune in Turkey

| Abstract | The study employs the EUNIS habitat classification system to identify and map habitat types, using Google Earth Pro, field observations, and ArcGIS 10.8.2 for data processing, identifying a total of three ecosystems and seven habitat types: unvegetated Mediterranean and Black Sea sand beaches, Western Tethyan embryonic dunes, dune sclerophyllous scrubs and thickets, Mediterranean coniferous coastal dune forest, Mediterraneo-Pontic sea-cliffs and rocky shores, Pinus brutia forests, and fallow un-inundated fields with annual and perennial weed communities. |
