| Abstract | Background: Nursing officers are pivotal in COVID-19 prevention. This study assesses their knowledge and practices regarding COVID-19 prevention at GIMS Hospital, Gadag. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: 25.5% of nursing officers demonstrated good knowledge of COVID-19 transmission, symptoms, and prevention, though gaps were noted. 74.5% adhered to preventive practices like hand hygiene, mask-wearing, and social distancing.
