| Abstract | This essay examines the idea of the rule of law as a fundamental tenet of democracies, characterizing it as a framework in which the rule of law, as opposed to capricious authority, governs society. The study explores its foundational ideas, historical context, and governance implications. By looking at case studies from different countries, the article shows how the rule of law affects countries with different political systems and how it affects economic stability, human rights, and global progress. The difficulties and changing function of the rule of law in contemporary society are covered in the concluding part. |
