| Abstract | This article examines the evolving intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a specific focus on career development pathways and professional competencies required in this emerging field. Through a comprehensive article analysis of industry requirements, technological frameworks, and professional development patterns, the article presents a structured framework for career preparation in AI-enhanced ERP systems. The article identifies four core competency domains: technical AI/ML skills, ERP systems knowledge, business process expertise, and professional development capabilities. The findings reveal that successful career development in this field requires a multi-faceted approach combining strong technical foundations in AI and machine learning, deep understanding of ERP architectures, and practical experience in business process integration. The article also highlights the critical role of continuous learning and professional networking in career advancement, particularly given the rapid evolution of AI technologies in enterprise systems. Furthermore, the article addresses the ethical and security considerations that professionals must navigate when implementing AI solutions in ERP environments. This article contributes to both academic literature and practical career development by providing a structured framework for professional preparation in AI-enabled ERP systems, while also identifying future research directions and emerging trends in the field. |
