Impact of COVID-19 and Strategies for Its Mitigation

Abstract COVID-19, a global pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, first emerged in Wuhan, China, in late 2019. This research explores the transmission mechanism of the virus, its impact on public health, economy, and mental well-being, as well as effective strategies for its mitigation. The findings highlight the importance of vaccination, public awareness, and global cooperation in combating the pandemic.
