The Impact of Automation on Employment in Developing Economies

Abstract Automation is bringing about development and uncertainty with it as it increasingly transforms industries. While technology development promotes productivity and economic progress, they also pose a danger to traditional job markets, particularly in emerging economies. This paper explains how automation is changing the nature of work, the hardest-hit industries, and how steps can be taken to make the transition from human labor to automation a fair and sustainable one.
