| Abstract | Spousal violence is a major socio-economic concern in India, particularly among marginalized communities. This study explores the prevalence of emotional, physical, and sexual violence against ever-married women aged 18-49 in Jharkhand based on NFHS-5 (2019-21) data. The analysis considers various background characteristics such as age, residence, education, marital status, number of children, household structure, religion, caste/tribe, wealth quintile, and family history of violence. |
