| Abstract | The increasing demand for renewable energy has driven significant interest in bioethanol production from lignocellulosic biomass. This study investigates the efficacy of alkaline peroxide pre-treatment in enhancing bioethanol production from corn stover. Pre-treatment was carried out using hydrogen peroxide in combination with sodium hydroxide under ambient conditions. The findings suggest that higher peroxide concentrations improve enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation efficiency, leading to increased bioethanol yield. |
