Abstract | The development of the Ergo Risk Elimination Hydraulic Clamp addresses significant challenges in industrial and manufacturing settings, where manual handling and clamping tasks are common. Traditional clamping systems often present ergonomic risks, such as repetitive strain injuries (RSIs), excessive force, and awkward body postures, which can lead to long-term health complications for workers. This innovative hydraulic clamp combines ergonomic design principles with advanced hydraulic technology, aiming to reduce physical strain and improve worker safety. By utilizing adjustable hydraulic pressure, the system allows for precise and controlled clamping force, reducing the need for manual effort and minimizing the risk of injury. The design ensures that the clamp can be operated from a neutral and safe position, preventing injuries caused by improper posture or overexertion. |
