Abstract Export facilitation is integral in sustaining the balance of trade against import in an economy. In promoting export development, the use of value-added service provider (VASP) systems assists with the implementation of electronic customs administration. The simplification and harmonization of customs procedures are crucial in facilitating the flow of goods in an international trade environment. As automation continuous, the Bureau of Customs has been progressively integrating modern technologies to regulate customs operations and transactions efficiently. In line with the manner of a descriptive-correlational research design, quota and purposive sampling techniques were applied to collect quantitative data from the manager, supervisor, and company owner of the thirty (30) selected export companies operating within Parañaque City. A total of one hundred fifty (150) participants were surveyed, five (5) from each company, of which were users of Electronic-to-Mobile (E2M) system. The study mainly concentrated on assessing the perceived effect of electronic customs administration on facilitating the export activities in terms of formalities and procedures pertinent to the degree of competitive advantage and export growth. Based on the six (6) indicators, the findings revealed an overall rating of very high level of agreement and that the participants strongly agreed that electronic customs administration influences the facilitation of export activities. The study further aimed to ascertain the association between the perceived effects and type of participants. Using Pearson correlation coefficient (r), results suggested a very low level correlation and that the relationship found between the perceived effects and type of participants were negligible and insignificant.
