Protection of children from sexual offences: A study of existing laws and judicial trends

Abstract Sexual offences against children are widely spread. This study examines the legislative responses, addressing the child sexual abuse in India, focusing on the legislative measures such as POCSO and JJ act And the newly introduced criminal law, BSA and BNS 2023. Also, this research paper focuses on the impact of CSEAM. This study analyses the key judicial trends, highlighting the role of the courts and enforcing the child protection laws in unifies the gaps and existing legal framework. The findings under the need for comprehensive multidimensional approach to combat sexual offences against children for ensuring time, justice, victim, support, and overall child protection in India.
