Abstract | Abstract Brain hemisphericity, defined as the dominance of either the left or right hemisphere in cognitive processing, has profound implications for general medicine. This article explores the role of hemispheric dominance in medical diagnosis, treatment strategies, and patient management. It examines the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying hemisphericity, its influence on cognitive and behavioral patterns, and its relevance in conditions such as stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, and psychiatric disorders. By integrating insights from neuroscience, psychology, and general medicine, this study highlights the potential for personalized medical interventions based on hemispheric profiling. The article also discusses emerging neuroimaging technologies and their role in assessing hemisphericity for clinical applications. The findings advocate for a holistic, brain-based approach to medical practice that enhances patient outcomes through tailored treatment plans. |
