Implementing Secure Payment Systems in E-commerce

Abstract | E-commerce continues to transform global marketplaces by offering convenient, round-the-clock accessibility to products and services. However, the rapid increase in online transactions also presents escalating security challenges. Implementing robust payment systems—capable of safeguarding sensitive customer data and adhering to regulatory requirements—is critical for preventing fraud and building consumer trust. This paper provides an in-depth discussion of e-commerce payment architectures, security standards, encryption methods, and fraud detection mechanisms. It also reviews best practices for designing and deploying secure payment solutions, illustrated by diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to underscore key strategies. |
