Abstract | Data pipelines are critical components of modern healthcare systems, enabling the efficient movement and transformation of sensitive patient data. However, ensuring these pipelines adhere to regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and GDPR is essential to maintain data security, integrity, and privacy. This paper presents an approach for auditing data pipelines to ensure regulatory compliance in healthcare. It discusses key compliance requirements, auditing techniques, and automated tools for monitoring and logging. Furthermore, it presents a case study on implementing an auditing framework to maintain compliance. |
