Abstract | In an increasingly complex financial landscape, regulatory compliance and innovation often appear to be at odds. Traditional compliance methods are frequently reactive, manual, and resource-intensive, making them ill-suited to address the rapidly evolving tactics of financial criminals. At the same time, financial institutions are under pressure to innovate, digitize operations, and enhance customer experiences. the paper argues that when strategically implemented, RegTech not only strengthens financial crime defenses but also enhances overall institutional agility and transparency. |
