| Abstract | The creation of affordable, effectivesurveillance systems has grown in significance asa means of improving security in a variety ofsituations, including homes, workplaces, andindustrial facilities. The ESP32-CAM module, alow-cost microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi andBluetooth capabilities, is used in this project'ssurveillance bot to construct a small, wireless, andreal-time monitoring system. The core of the bot'soperation is the ESP32-CAM module, which has acamera and computing power and allows forremote video streaming and monitoring via a web-based or mobile interface. The surveillance bot ismade to be extremely adaptable. It can move aboutthe monitoring area thanks to a simple roboticplatform made up of motors and a motor driver. Alive video feed is captured by the bot's camera andwirelessly sent via a Wi-Fi network to a device thatis connected. The system incorporates objectdetection utilizing the YOLO (You Only LookOnce) algorithm to improve surveillancecapabilities. This allows for the real-time trackingand identification of objects inside the recordedvideo feed. An effective method for intelligentmonitoring that doesn't require a lot of hardwareis to use the ESP32-CAM for image processing andcapture in conjunction with YOLO-based objectdetection. With an easy-to-use mobile or webapplication that allows for remote control and botmonitoring, the system is made to be user-friendly.This project demonstrates the ESP32-CAM'spotential as a flexible and reasonably pricedplatform for creating intelligent surveillancesystems that strikes a balance between cost, performance, and ease of use. |
