Abstract Indian ancient mathematics has played a significant role in shaping modern mathematical concepts. Indian ancient mathematics, deeply rooted in Vedic and classical traditions, has significantly contributed to global mathematical knowledge. Concepts such as zero, the decimal system, and algebra originated in India and continue to shape modern mathematics. From the invention of zero to sophisticated algebraic methods, Indian mathematicians like Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, and Bhaskaracharya have made profound contributions. This paper explores the rich legacy of Indian mathematics and examines its potential applications in modern and future technological advancements, contributions and investigates their applications in contemporary and future scientific advancements including artificial intelligence, cryptography, computational sciences, and space exploration.
