Understanding Loneliness in Retired people: Why are they getting lonelier?

Abstract Though people of any age can suffer from loneliness and depression, old people are more susceptible to it. Loneliness can trigger feelings of anxiety, negative and self destructive thoughts and emotions. The present research is concerned with loneliness in elderly people and the countless health issues associated with it and ways of addressing loneliness in elderly population.
