Abstract "Legal Aid: Know Your Rights" is a modern web-based platform developed to make legal information more approachable and understandable for everyday users. It focuses on breaking down complex legal topics into simple formats, helping users—particularly those with limited legal access—learn about their rights and available processes. The application is built using React.js, Tailwind CSS, Supabase, and TypeScript, offering a clean, responsive, and intuitive user experience across devices.
The platform provides several key features: a searchable legal glossary, predefined legal document templates with guidance, a rights awareness tool, a section for FAQs and legal resources, and legal news updates. It also includes an AI-based chatbot integrated via the Google Gemini API, which allows users to ask questions and receive immediate assistance on legal matters.
In addition, an admin panel supports content management, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. This paper presents the development process, feature set, and key implementation details of the project. It also outlines the challenges faced during its creation and explores potential enhancements such as expanding legal categories, enabling support for regional laws, and offline availability.
