| Abstract | The Panchayati Raj system is a method for the Decentralization of government that gives power to and encourages input from citizens at the grassroot level . It's original purpose in India was to foster rural growth and facilitate local democratic rule .This study was based on descriptive research approach because the research questions of this study were based on what and how rather than why .The study found that there is significant impact of panchayat raj on rural development in Bihar state. |
