Abstract | The transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0 marks a shift from automation-driven systems to a more human-centered and sustainable approach. While Industry 4.0 focused on AI, automation, and smart technologies, Industry 5.0 reintegrates human involvement, fostering collaboration between people and intelligent machines. It prioritizes human well-being, ethical AI use, and workforce empowerment, ensuring that technology enhances human roles rather than replacing them. Additionally, Industry 5.0 emphasizes sustainability by optimizing resource usage and reducing environmental impact. This paper explores the key technologies, benefits, and challenges of Industry 5.0, highlighting its potential to create a resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible industrial future. By redefining the role of technology, Industry 5.0 envisions a future where innovation is not only smart but also ethical, sustainable, and people-focused. |
