Author(s) Lokesh Meena, Dr. Prerna Jain
Country India
Abstract GST has an impact on all businesses across industries. Small and medium-sized firms, on the other hand, have fared worse than large ones. As a result, MSME's capacity to endure this large tax and infrastructure overhaul must be examined in light of their modest size and reduced margins. So main aim of this research is to find out challenges and benefits of GST on MSME. In this regard, some pertinent questions must be addressed, such as how the introduction of GST has impacted MSME in terms of various costs, 1such as the cost1of implementation, the cost of1compliances, and cost of1non-compliances, as well as the challenges, if any, posed by development and alignment of new software systems with GSTN, human resource training, and issues related to new accounting system. The research is significant because it seeks to investigate multiple challenges faced by MSMEs in the state of Rajasthan, such as implementation costs, compliance/non-compliance costs, and so on, as well as to draft recommendations & make suggestions to Rajasthan government & tax authorities so that they can raise their voice & share concerns of Rajasthan's MSME in the various GST Council meetings held on a regular basis.
