AN UNETHICAL METHOD OF INCREASING PUBLICATION COUNTS: SALAMI SLICING.
Author(s) | Mr. Anurag Verma |

Country | India |
Abstract | In the following article, the reasons for salami slicing are examined, including institutional performance indicators and academic pressure to publish. The practice's ethical issues—such as redundant work, data fragmentation, and deceiving the academic community—are also examined. In the end, the paper makes the case for a well-rounded strategy for publishing that prioritizes quality over quantity in order to promote more conscientious research dissemination among the academic community. |
