Abstract | This research investigates the social competence levels of students in the Integrated B.A. B.Ed. program at the Central University of Jammu. Social competence refers to skills like leadership, teamwork, communication, and emotional intelligence, which are crucial for success in academic and professional environments. The study focuses on how gender, economic status, and location (urban vs. rural) influence these skills. Using the Social Competence Scale, data was collected from 140 students. The findings aim to inform educational policies and teaching strategies to better develop these essential social skills in future teachers. |
