Abstract This study examines the use of mechanical sand (M-Sand) as a sustainable alternative to river sand in concrete. Concrete mixes with 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% M-Sand were tested for compressive and flexural strengths at 7 and 28 days. Results showed improved compressive strength up to 50% replacement, while flexural strength slightly decreased at higher M-Sand levels. The study concludes that M-Sand is a viable and eco-friendly substitute for river sand in concrete production.
