Inclusive Infrastructure in West Bengal Madrasahs: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract This study examines the availability, accessibility, and quality of educational opportunities for people with disabilities (PwD) in West Bengal's secondary madrasahs. It also discusses implementing inclusive education policies, infrastructural changes, teacher training, and support services. The findings illustrate the obstacles and possibilities in supporting inclusive education, highlighting the importance of improved infrastructure, qualified instructors, and community awareness. The study suggests techniques for enhancing PWD students' scholastic results and social integration in madrasahs. Madrasahs in West Bengal have always played an important role in delivering education to underprivileged groups. However, implementing inclusive education for kids with impairments is always a struggle. This article looks at the current condition of inclusive infrastructure in West Bengal madrasahs, stressing both obstacles and chances for development. Literature review. Survey of secondary madrasahs. Interviews with educators, administrators, and PwD students. Observational studies. Policy analysis.
