Blockchain Technology for Identity Manangement

Abstract	This paper proposes a novel methodology called Proof-of-Context Identity Validation to enhance blockchain-based identity management systems by incorporating contextual constraints such as time, location, and purpose. Unlike traditional systems where credentials can be misused in unintended contexts, this approach ensures access is granted only when predefined, authorized conditions are met. Key components include contextual credentials, a Context Oracle, PoC smart contracts, and a tamper-proof interaction log. Applications span healthcare, education, and governance. The paper also addresses challenges like context rule management, scalability, oracle dependency, and legal considerations.
