An Intergenerational Framework For Mitigating Technostress In Radiologic Technology Using Augmented Reality

Abstract | The study competitively developed a mitigating framework for technostress intergenerational Radiologic Technology in an augmented reality. This descriptive study used surveying method through Google Form to Radiologic Technologists working as clinical instructors and Radiologic Technology students from all higher education institutions offering the Radiologic Technology program in Region XII. They are classified as Digital immigrants and Digital natives as components of the intergenerational Radiologic Technology. The digital immigrants are more stressed as compared to their digital native counterparts in the learning-teaching process. Digital natives are more stressed as compared to the digital immigrants in the profession oriented. Digital natives are more stressed as compared to the digital immigrants in the technical issue-oriented. Digital natives are more stressed as compared with the digital immigrants in the personal oriented. Digital Immigrants are more stressed as compared with the digital natives in the social oriented domain. It is recommended to conduct performance audit which will include the economics of the development and upgrading of the technological infrastructures, modification of the teaching and learning and workplace environments and adopt the proposed Mitigating Framework for Technostress and the corresponding program components be implemented to help intergenerational Radiologic Technologists and Radiologic Technology students cope with technostress. |
