Abstract | The growing incorporation of technology in educational environments has led to the emergence of innovative teaching methods, with gamification receiving significant focus. This research investigates the effectiveness of gamification as a teaching tool, concentrating on its effects on student learning achievements and retention levels. Utilizing a quasi-experimental methodology, the research contrasts student performance and engagement in gamified classrooms against traditional educational settings. The results reveal that gamification has a beneficial effect on both learning achievements and retention levels, indicating that its use can improve the overall educational experience. This article examines the implications of these results for educators and provides suggestions for successfully integrating gamification into various learning environments. |
