Abstract | This project presents a smart, AI-powered assistive system created to help visually impaired individuals navigate their surroundings with greater ease and confidence. By using a real-time camera, the system can recognize familiar faces, understand people’s emotions through facial expressions, and detect nearby obstacles, even estimating how far they are. All this information is shared with the user through clear voice feedback, making it easier to move around safely and connect with others on a more personal level. Ultimately, the system aims to boost independence and improve everyday experiences by acting as a supportive, intelligent companion. |
