Abstract | The tragic events of September 11, 2001, commonly known as 9/11 attack, have changed the course of history. "The twin building of World Trade centre", Newyork, and "Pentagon in Washington" was attacked by terrorists on 11 September, 2001 which not just shook the "United States(US)" but also had significant implications worldwide. 9/11 attack has brought the 'US-China relationship' closer as well. The US understood such kind of tragic events should never happen again and decided to root out the terrorist organizations and their leaders in the world and decided to go on the "War on terror". While it changed it's focus on combating terrorism and seeking justice for the victims, and making sure that such an attack could never happen again, some analysts argue that the aftermath of the 9/11 attack inadvertently became a geopolitical gift to China. |
