Technology Integration in Luna Central School: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract This study explores the current state of technology integration at Luna Central School, with a focus on identifying prevailing challenges and uncovering potential opportunities for enhancing digital teaching and learning practices. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research gathered data from both learners and teachers through surveys and observations. Key findings revealed that while learners generally respond positively to technology-enhanced lessons—demonstrating increased engagement and motivation compared to traditional teaching methods—access to technological resources remains inconsistent both at home and in school. Smartphones are the most accessible devices among students, but limited access to internet connectivity, tablets, and computers poses significant barriers to equitable learning experiences.
