| Abstract | India, one of the largest automotive markets globally, has witnessed a significant shift towards electric vehicles (EVs) due to growing environmental concerns, government incentives, and rising fuel costs. Tata Motors, a prominent player in the Indian automotive industry, has been at the forefront of this transition with its innovative electric vehicle offerings. This paper explores the evolution of Tata Motors’ electric vehicle strategy, the impact of its EV models on the Indian market, and the challenges and opportunities the company faces in promoting sustainable transportation in the country.Tata Motors' strategy has positioned it well as a leader in India's EV revolution. Through affordable and high-performance vehicles, the company has overcome many of the hurdles associated with the Indian market. However, challenges such as infrastructure, battery supply, and public awareness remain. By focusing on innovation, collaboration, and the continued expansion of EV adoption across segments, Tata Motors can remain at the forefront of the electric mobility movement in India. The company’s future looks promising, with opportunities both within India and in international markets, as the demand for green mobility grows globally. |
