Abstract | The logistics industry is undergoing a transformative shift driven by the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. This research explores how IoT applications enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs across logistics processes such as fleet management, warehouse operations, cold chain logistics, and last-mile delivery. Using a mixed-methods approach combining literature review, case study analysis, and survey-based quantitative data, this study evaluates the effectiveness, benefits, challenges, and future trends of IoT adoption in logistics. Findings suggest that IoT leads to significant improvements in visibility, automation, cost-efficiency, and decision-making while facing barriers such as high initial investment and cybersecurity concerns. |
