A Study on Trend Analysis of Financial Statement

Abstract	The paper focuses on analyzing the financial trends of small finance bank from 2020 to 2024. It uses trend analysis techniques to examine year-over-year changes in key financial components such as assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses. This approach helps evaluate the bank’s financial performance by identifying areas of strength, such as revenue growth and capital expansion. It also highlights financial weaknesses like rising liabilities or unstable income patterns. The insights gained from this study are valuable for stakeholders including investors, analysts, regulators, and the bank’s management, aiding them in strategic planning and decision-making. A consistent upward trend is considered a sign of operational soundness, while negative or fluctuating trends may indicate the need for corrective actions. The study provides a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s financial condition and emphasizes the importance of multi-year analysis in evaluating long-term financial health and sustainability.
