Abstract Police officers work in environments marked by constant exposure to trauma, unpredictable schedules, organizational demands, and public scrutiny. These pressures seriously affect their psychological well-being and disturb the balance between professional duties and personal life. Ensuring strong mental health and work-life balance is vital not only for individual officers but also for maintaining the effectiveness and public trust in policing institutions. This study conducts a meta-analysis of twelve empirical research papers, examining stress management strategies designed for law enforcement. The focus includes mental health interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Psychological Capital (PsyCap) development, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and structured resilience training programs. Findings suggest that mindfulness techniques, positive psychological approaches, and emotional regulation practices play a major role in reducing occupational stress and strengthening resilience. Organizational factors, including leadership support and access to wellness resources, further enhance the success of these interventions. Based on the analysis, a conceptual framework is developed to illustrate how integrated mental health strategies lead to better psychological outcomes and improved work-life balance among officers. The study highlights the urgent need for policing organizations to implement comprehensive, evidence-based mental health initiatives, and recommends exploring long-term impacts and technology-driven solutions in future research.
